Must Have Attributes and Skills

​

• Must love specialty coffee and be passionate about serving great quality espresso and pour overs! Part of your job is maintaining quality and consistency by dialing in espresso as well as recommended products to customers so you have to like and drink the coffee!

• Thrive in a fast paced environment.  The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is essential. Our business comes in waves with rushes where you have balance customer service and relationships with regulars while moving a line. Outside of direct barista experience at a high volume shop, bartending and food service are translatable skills.

• Great customer  service is the backbone of our business!

• Must be availible for at least 4 shifts a week between 6am and 4pm for either morning or afternoon shifts with some weekend availability.  Shifts are generally 4-6 hrs 6:30am-12:00pm or 12pm-5pm. We are looking to fill both part time and full time hours.​

Preferred Skills- barista experience at a specialty coffee shop with latte art skills are a a huge plus but we will train the right people.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and food items but also ensuring that every customer leaves with a positive experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• · Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and grab and go food items according to standard recipes.

• Maintain consistency and excellent quality standards throughout the day in all drinks.

• · Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and cash handling.

• · Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items, flavor profiles, and coffee regions and traits.

• · Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours and rushes.

• · Participate in ongoing training to enhance coffee knowledge and preparation skills are always top tier.
